The fawns are starting to pop up everywhere, bucks are growing and berries are coming out.

The "racks" are starting to show up around here, mostly at the beach.  8) ;D

looks great and the bucks are out and about here too...seem 2 on the side of road on thruway between 34 and 34a.....yummy berries

Nice pictures Cody..   Been seeing a nice big 6 pt around here...  So far he is lacking brows to make him an 8 but maybe there is still time... ;D

           No wonder you see all sorts of deer with berries out like those, we are so much farther behind. Berry bushes are just starting to flower here. :(

Things are much further ahead down here then up north.  Those are actually black raspberries.  Black berries Iv seen down here are still green. Seen a few red raspberries ready too. The wine berries will be starting here in the next two weeks or so.  I gotta pick some more this year to freeze.

My grandmother used to make the best black raspberry pie, with berries from the overgrown farm my grandfather was born on. She said bear fat was the best for baking pies and pastry.

Dang it ...   I missed having supper with you sounds so so tasty homemade to boot

well you come right on over Greenie......have some homemade bread with the jam every night for a treat but you can have some supper too....went out picking wild blueberries last night for some homemade muffins tomorrow......that is yummy too.....wild blueberry pancakes for breakfast too.....just awesome.......nothing like wild berries for anything.....do not have enough blue berries to make a pie though....too tiny....well maybe I have to go pick more now that my mouth is watering.....
