funny noise

hey guys im hunting outside of philly and have to use my bow i drew back today and it was makeing a funny clicking noise i think its the piece that hols the strind as i draw back its getting stuck on the rod it slides on

If you're talking about the cable slide on the cable guard take it off and see if you still have the noise.  If that's the problem leave it off, you can still shoot it with out the slide and it should have no affect on accuracy.  Replace it as soon as possible since shooting with out one for extended periods of time will cause cable wear but don't wait to hunt again until find a new one, just rub a little bow string wax on the cable guard in the mean time and get out there and shoot something!  ;D

thanks took it to the shop and that was the problem seems ive shot it to much and ended up wearing it out so got a new teflon slide so im good wax the string s and im out in the mornin

your lucky my buddy was shooting with a similar clicking noise and said thats all it is hed fix it eventualy he drew back one time and snap $1,000 dollar mathews gone
