My buddy Sprig and I were on them quick this morning and I'm happy to report my shooting was downright awesome for a change!!! I shot a pair of doubles today!! Sprig continued his phenomenal shooting streak by scoring his 3 consecutive triple on a perfectly decoyed flock. He ended his run of triples at 3 by reloading and taking a late riser out of the flock that chose to hang around and watch the other birds flopping on the ground!
I left the dog home today and he wasn't too happy about it. The weather went to hell on us and a bunch of thunder and hard rain finally ran us off about 0730. It had the potential to be a limit day for us had the weather stayed nice. As it is, we'll rest them for another day. 4 each is plenty to clean!!
