White Hot powder vs 777

Has anyone used the white hots? I picked up some last night as the store was out of 777. Typically have used 3 pellets and i see the box for white hots says to only use 2. I am shooting 250gr traditions poly tips. I assume a little re-sighting will be needed.

It never used white hot but iv used 777 pellets and lose powder!! There is a little adjustment from 150 grains of pellets to lose powder so I'm sure dropping down in grain will need to adjust some... Sorry I wasn't much of help to you

I've never used pellets. I only use Blackhorn 209 loose powder.

I made the switch from 777 pellets to white hots and I am very pleased. Do they increase speed? I don't know I don't have a chrominance honestly I doubt it, however my muzzy groups way better with them and the ignition seems more instant if you can believe that. 2 white hits is plenty shot a god buck with them this year

I use 777 with no issue. I used white hiots one year with good results as well. I think this was a thread on here before and someone said they are the same thing.

So here's the dirty little truth of the matter, IMR WHITE HOTS  arrrrrre 777 dyed WHITE. Both made by hogdon. no increase in power or velocity what so ever from one to the other (I've chronied both from the same gun/same load) . Both very corrosive also. Blackthorn all the way....

Btw, that is directly from hogdon to my ears.
