I am just wondering where everyone is finding moose this year! High or lower elevation and what are they in for feed? Here in vermont I seem to have only found fresh sign above 2000 feet elevation and I'm not sure but I believe it is due to a super harvest of bechnuts but not sure! Thanks for any input!!!

here in maine they hang mostly around water but they will move in and out of hardwood to feed. they will take advantage of the beechnuts and apple orchards also.

I hunting deer at 500' elevation in central NH. I too am seeing major sign around beachnut. Moose, Deer, Bear, and Rabbit. A better beachnut harvest this year I think, than in years past.
