Oh yes LOL ..... He's as pig headed as they come :-[ Sport Dog Collar is all I can say ;)

I use a Dogtra and he gets a few reminders on every hunt.  When he is on he is on, when he is off.....forget about it. 
Love him and I'd never trade him for anything.  When I got him , I didn't hunt ducks or geese, now I do.  The Griffon looks like a great all around dog.  For now I have enough dog to work with!

Every Sunday I bring my pup to my grandfather to play with his Brit. Normally means she chases him till he hides from her. I tried water retrieving with her yesterday. Did go great. She wont jump off the dock and needs work on swimming. I'm sure I'll have her ready in a month for ducks.

went out this afternoon in the rain to check on a stand from last year and move a camera. whelen and i found a good charge of woodcock also. heres a pic of whelen on point.

thats what we did with both ours...22 at about 50 yards with joellen holding them and every time i shot joellen would give a cookie then moved to about 25 did the same and so on now i can shoot a 12ga 10feet from them and they dont even care

She did good. She didn't point any of the birds, my grandfathers Brittany did. My pup works good alone with me but she goes nuts around other dogs and wants to play. She did find 2 of the birds that were down. She did work birds but had a hard time in thick grass.
