I live right by that lake and never walked in there,heard alot of good fish stories about it.

found out by an old timer there is a canoe stashed up there. He gave me a general description where it is. I'll have to go find it.  ;D

We're looking to head up either Saturday or Sunday.  Anything going on in the central region (Forestport through Tupper Lake) this weekend?  If not we may just kayak the Moose and hit the beach.

Thanks, I didn't have that site saved!  There's a couple things going on, but not for my budget...  Looks like the beach and maybe some paddling!

     Do you have your own kayaks?? If not. .A great  place to kayak out of is Tickners....

We have two, that's all that will fit on top of the car.  We usually get the other one or two that we need for the kids from Tickners.  I remember renting aluminum canoes from them with my father back in the late 70's early 80's to take down the Moose!
