Merry Christmas to all my good friends. It's not about getting or giving IMO, It's a great dinner (or two) with extended family. Unless you have young uns', that makes the whole holiday magical. We have 20+ coming to my parents house for Christmas Eve dinner. Just finished the brine for the venison roast(s), will be bone to brine (over night) to a slow braise. Never frozen  ;). We'll have beef for the "indoors folk". The older I get the more I understand the greatness of holidays. Seems like every year I think more of my family that no longer joins us. I hope everyone has a great holiday, it's only as good as you perceive it.
