anyone know why the deer were doing this?

i was in my treestand the other morning and i had 2 does run past me they both had there heads down and there tails down like they werent alert but they were searching for sumthing i never seen does do this ive seen a couple bucks do this during the rut but never does.

I had two fawns do this last weekend.  I think they knew something was up, but didn't know what or where I was.  Not quite busted.  They looked like they were trying to sneaking by.  Neither one made a sound.  Mom hung up about 40 yards out and didn't follow them.  She wasn't alarmed, but she knew something wasn't right.
