It's not going to improve much for this weekend, highs around 60 for our SZ opener weekend, again  ::).

Weather sure has made hunting a little harder the last few years.....Real warm, lot of rain, late snow, winds in odd directions....
Heck I need all the excuses I can get.... ;)

            Yea, this see-saw weather sure put a hurting on the hunting. The deer are surely confused just as I am. Movement has come to a halt or @ least has changed their routine.

I got on stand at 3pm and it was 79 degrees! Funny thing is I saw all my action from 3-3:45?? Hottest part of the day. Saw 5 nice gobblers, a doe and her fawn and passed a 4 pt.

Almost got a doe around 1530 today in 6G just south of Dexter, but I didn't have any Subaru tag, so I let her go about 5-10 yards off of the front bumper.

well i hope the weekend is nice headed to camp in west winfield try to set up on a couple nice ones i wish it would snow i love bowhunting with a inch of snow on the ground.....

They're calling for a SW wind for my area over the weekend. Perfectly wrong for how I set the blind up  ::). Can't decide what to do if the forecast doesn't change. I might go to a spot near the house where I know there are does that stage before dark to hit peoples yards.  An easy recovery if I make a good hit and a SW wind would be perfect.

You never know. Weather can change pretty quick and often this time of year. I watch, but usually wait until I get to the woods to see what wind is doing. The hills and winds at times makes it hard to play the wind, unless the wind is strong, then usually one direction. ....hunts2long

They're saying 10-15mph SW both afternoons, so there's a good chance at this point. I usually wait until I get to my spot, but I only have one real option there without being able to use my tree stands.

Wind will bring down some of the leaves. Wind and rain=Not Fun, but I will be out there.....Good Luck....hunts2long

20-30 mph winds with occasional rain showers for the weekend by me. Its gonna be fun.  ;D
