my duck day = my first tick

well ive been hunting ducks the past few days and when i got home today took off my waders gettin ready to change to go see the old lady i found a lil companion right on my knee cap... needless to say i wasnt very happy ive never seen a tick around were i hunt ( of a pier in the mouth of a bay)  i was actually pretty shakin up cuz he was buried in me haha but a trip to the local urgent care fixed that. worst part is no ducks :( but i seen alot flying today and well leaveing i seen a bunch of coot and mallards in the park pond. oh well try again tomarrow i guess with hopefully no ticks haha

they gave me sum antibiotics to take only two pills though the doc said i should be fine but im still cautious you know

Was it a female deer tic ? also look for a target to develope,and take a blood test in a couple weeks.with my work I have a routeen blood test every few months.

idk they just said it was a deer tick and i would be fine gave me a perscription for 2 pills of doxy and let me go

you have to go back if you develope a bullseye around the area  cause that means bad news..make sure to keep an eye on it real close
