Looks like you had a good day Steve. Wish I could tell you for sure I was going but I'm just not sure yet. With the wedding coming up in 23 days this isn't the best time to be brining up fishing trips for next year. Know what I mean? I'll let you know as soon as I can. Cheeks out!!! 8)

Well that's fine, I'll take you fishing in "her" boat next time. Then "she" can get a new depth finder, and "she" can get new rod holders and downriggers. It's always easier to be able to buy things for her than it is for me!!! ::) ;D  Cheeks out!!! 8)

I'm in Steve definitely 2 people possibly 4 . we have a 14 foot v bottom boat with a 15 horse mercury if we need it.also have a reserve America account if we have to make reservations. this should be fun i have never caught a lake trout :o

It'll probably be your choice if you want to bring the boat. There's places around the sites that you can pull it right up on the shore if you're willing to. That could leave a dock open for another bigger boat. I'll definitely have you reserve a site, when the time comes we'll get it orginized.

I have some pics of the island that I'll post when I get a chance.

I also have the option of a 12 footer with the 9.9 that could be shore'd if that's the better route for me. We have plenty of time to figure that out.

It really depends on what we end up with for boats, your 19' would be ideal for helping to get people and gear to and from the island. I'd rather you didn't have to trailer it that far though if it's not necessary. It's a three mile boat ride and it can get choppy on the open lake. The small boats will be able to fish around the islands in the wind, once they're out there.

I will have a 1092' boat with twin engines 260,000 hp, I am trying to get it up there but I'm not sure if they will let me...I'll let you know...Maybe I can arrange a fly over... ;D

It's been trailered from Florida to Ontario so that's not a big deal.
