Believe me, there would be only one place I would rather be than where all our friends getting together from here... ;)
 
Have missed seeing Issiah and Dom this spring. But might make a drive out that way in the near future. I do have wheels now... :P

Just not sure if I will be able to leave the wife for a weekend.....I've tried to get away this spring but haven't as yet.  She needs someone around most of the time, as she falls regularly, and to cook for her. She can't stand at the stove or anything for more than 20 minutes...
I do think it would be a blast though....We'll have to see what happens in the next year as far as her health.... :(
Hope the wife gets better soon.

I'd really like to say yay or nay but unfortunately I cant. I'm guessing this is gonna fall real close to the family trip. Wont know for a while. Sounds like a good trip tho.

Ramrod and Raquette, I'm counting you both as going, just let me know if you find out your not coming for sure. Last weekend the fishing wasn't great, for the few hours we tried. Did keep three Sunday even with the constant east wind.




Of course it's not all about the fishing, especially if it's real hot out. The water temp at the campsite was 78-80*.

not that much warmer  :o.

Friday night our neighbors brought us some fried SMB. They taste great out of there, not far from walleye IMO. May have plan a fry if we have enough bass guys to meet demand.
