Last night coming home from the fire meeting, house is not quite a mile down main street from me, two doe!! ran across in front of me!!
Right next to the Vets monument....Go figure, less than 1/4 mile from the house and in town...

Can't wait myself.  Stands have been hung since the end of july.  Clothes are ready, bow is ready, and i am ready.  Eleven more days and counting.

when down to camp last sat hung my stand cleared shooting lanes hung a camera on my runway headed down next friday morning to see if any action is happening on my runway gonna stay friday night and sat night hopefully a nice buck comes threw its time to get serious

   Good luck on your test Stuck...   I have a friend who took it when he got out of highschool and has 20 years in December and will retire with full pay and benefits at the age of 40...

Thanks. Im hoping to score well and be called right around my 21st birthday. If i get in when im 21-22 i will be able to retire before im 50. And that would mean lots of hunting trips for this retired guy hahahaha. Ill still be young enough to do all the hunts that are on my "bucket list"

I hope so, but I'm not going to stink up my good stands early this year, again. I plan to start hunting my uncles for a doe (and a bonus either sex tag) in the mornings and just doing one stand a weekend for the bucks where my cameras are. Until I see better movement on camera.

yup about half hr ago just got done rigging up new duck deeks i bought tonight. A little more than 48 hrs

SoS - I bagged the dekes I am taking north this weekend, and switched chokes in the 12 gauge.  Sucks that I can't get out of work until 2:30 on Friday - I'm all twitchy to go NOW!
