Doesn't need to be a close up of the tag...the tag just has to be visible in the picture...

Just Need the Deer, tag and shooter in the pic-not a close up---unless----like a case like fullstrecture--the tag had to be shown too, since the pic was in the woods and not tagged yet--
if that happenes --thats what you do-take another pic-----and I would say tape out the last name-----------------------but it's up to the Judges and Refs............

QUESTION....   What if someone doesn't want to have there last name posted on the internet????   Would it be all right to put a piece of tape over it and take the picture???  Just wondering in case some one has a problem with it..  What do you think??...

I planned on covering my last name and the last four digits of my license#. There does seem to be a lot of lurkers on the site. Can we create a private thread on this site? That would make me slightly more comfortable with posting personnel info.

Being that the deer was still in the field either just found or being dragged the tag only needs to be filled out. Doesn't need to be on the deer until the road
or whereever your going(may be your back yard). I think if a close up of the tag is asked for then block out the last name. Most here know my fist name,
Scott, and can even figure out my last name if they really want to. I'm hoping we really don't have to get all that serious with this. It is all for fun,
and a little good natured ribbing to our hunting brothers. You could go to DEC website and check the DOC# to see if the tag was reported.
Is that necessary? Not in my opinion. I still hold hope against hope that the biggest majority of our hunting community members are honest.
Why I said what I did.
I do understand someones hesitance to post a pic with personal information. Not what this contest was started for.
Now lets go shoot some deer!!, If the dang weather will turn better!!!

STKA--- don't need a close up scan of your tag-----as long as the tag shows in the pic with you and the deer---
Just like STKA did lastyear is very acceptable--------------------Page 2 of the north south BS thread-------
only a proof scan is need if the Refs don't see the tag--and only the Ref can ask--they are the Refs..
