WE have about 8 inches and still coming down hard. Deer will be yarding for sure now. With the winds predicted for today, I may just stay warm indoors. GRRRR no I won't I'm on vacation dang it.

snow came down fast in Lake George area last night then turned to rain around 1130. got about 4 inches at first but the rain made it slushy now. It'll most likely be gone by later tonight.

It's been all rain in Saratoga area. I was excited when it started last night about 7:30, it was snow. 15 minutes later it was rain. It rained all night. I went out for about an hour this morning and got soaked right through. It's raining hard here.

Yup, clothes are still wet from the morning, guess I'll stay in this afternoon and Tyler and I will hit it in the morning. Give the deer a chance to clam down as well. With snow it's plain to see how many people hunt there, more than I thought.
Just heard a guy in town took a 10 point, seems his party was telling everyone they got it 30 miles from here. Tyler heard him shoot two weeks ago about 100 yards from him. Guess they didn't want me to know they got it there. I may just have to go up and park in their yard and go out behind their house. GRRRRRR
oh we have over a foot now. wet sticky crap.

the pond i duckhunt (well, used to) has been frozen over for a few days. i walked a few feet out on in the other day. it started to open up with the rain today and i found a nice little hole where i'm gonna throw some decoys and a mojo out in the am. first time for ducks all yr which is sad but had about 25-30 fly right over me at dusk as i was dragging the boat in.

We got about 10" here in Thurman. Were down to about 8" now, I think its here to stay. I didn't even bother going hunting this morning in it. I did however take the 450r out for some snow riding lol!
