Filled a tag yesterday morning just as it got light out.  Almost had a shot at a second about 10 minutes later but would only come in to 55yds.  Its a great feeling to get it done early.  Good luck to all of you guys this year

butt out... http://www.cabelas.com/prod-1/0041414228322a.shtml   it's awsome. i take a while to do the deed but it cut the time in half just about and is much simpler than trying to cut around the pooper

I got one of those "butt-outs" for this year. A guy I worked with last year said it worked impressively well.

I got a new spot to hunt and need to find a cheap hang on treestand and climbing sticks. Anyone know a shop around Albany with better deals than Dicks?

dicks usually has good prices on there hang-ons and climbing sticks but maybe check wal-mart in clifton park or saratoga they have a decent selection on treestands compared to the wal-marts in latham or albany

I checked Sportsmans Guide, but they weren't cheap enough to warrent shipping. I guess I'll just go to Dicks and pay the convenience charge.
