Herd the first gobble of the year

Was Ice fishing in Alton on Monday and herd a distant gobbler responding to some crows. Got the itch!

lol I heard the same one the past 2 weekends ice fishing, I'm glad fishin is carrying me into turkey huntin this year.

i dont no about u guys but when im sittin at the base of a tree and listen to em gobble when there commin i still get shacky,herd the first on a week or so ago ,when does yur seasin start??

Youth weekend is Aprill 26 and 27. Regular season runs May 3 - 31...can't wait...Tim
