I'd like to know the idiot that put forth this proposal in the first place.
Hard to believe.
We better make our voices heard.
This is monumentally stupid.

Lewis and Clark hunted with a big bore air rifle on their Voyage of Discovery... Ive got a Day state .22 cal made in England with a built in legal suppressor...FPS is higher that a .22 LR at barrel. It is a blast to shoot and honest I haven't shot any of my .22 LR since I bought it. It has no problem killing Raccoons at 50-75 yds, but honest you could kill a deer with a head shot close by.( Im not suggesting trying though) But went up caribou hunting in Northern Quebec 30 years ago and .22LR and .22 mag were all the guns they used for subsitence hunting (Caribou, seals, Polar bear) Here is video from Air guns of Arizona Day state Wolverine .303 cal..

If were legal to hunt with I'd get one...
Gee be happy they are thinking of allowing another cool way to hunt!

A few years back, I read an article in Guns & Ammo about hunting hogs with a .50 cal air rifle.
