While adding a little moisture to the nuts earlier I found a few high achievers.
Time to get serious about setting my little home up to handle 240 new residents. Going to try a new style grow pot... Better order them Monday.

Tom, my wife uses heat pads when starting anything, works great.

Hey, this is a family site. Keep your love life out of it, please...  ;)

Got serious about making some room today. No more doing it by hand  8).
This section is pretty much all Ash, borers are killing them all anyway, so away they go. This guy clears in an hour what took me a month to do. Money well spent!

Me too!  :D

Moved the ball forward quite a bit for expanding the orchard today. I have a neighbor that doesn't care for what I'm doing apparently. Had a visit from the DEC. Nice guy, we had a short chat and everything is on the up and up so he left. Spend your free time in the middle of nowhere to get away from people... And they STILL try to reach out and touch you. Good grief. Go get your own life so you're not concerned about what everyone else is doing. Little people are everywhere. Happy with today's effort. You couldn't see the mountain before...

I'm not supposed to know who it was.

I have photos of them on my place that they're unaware of. The next dec call will be mine. With photos, dates and times.  8)
But I'm reserving that as a last resort, if there's anymore bs. I prefer to handle things on my own, if possible.

You do know that you could take your "heavy equipment" over to his house and "knock" on his door and have a talk with him...h2l

The situation would be much simpler if it was a guy. I gave myself a week to cool off then contacted her to address this in a manner I wouldn't have to apologize for... But still get the point across. I did. But... I doubt she gets it yet. Breaking the law regularly... Then calling them in on a law abiding neighbor you don't like... The stupid runs deep...

80 chestnuts have germinated and are taking a little dirt nap. Probably have some emerging in another week and a half or so.
