I finally took the time to go through mom and dad's pictures.. Here are some I found....

Priceless pictures Raq. Thats a good buck for the first time. Never matters the antler size the heart is beating just as fast with any deer the first time walks in to a shooting lane..

Those are really great Raquette. Love the Sorels and Woolrich. I grew up in them.
Someday I'll borrow a scanner. Have boxes of pics from my families history here in the mountains.
You on the deer reminds me of the night my Dad came home from the Preserve. He and his brothers were speacial wardens on a large tract of land in Edinburg
for a wealthy man. The little stepside red Chevy pulled in and I ran out and jumped up on the stepside to see what was in the back.
It was a 485 pound bear my uncle had shot. I went right off the truck into the ditch backwards....Scared the little 6 year old tough guy.

You couldn't find a longer gun to carry through the woods ;D. I can imagine trying to swing on to a deer with that cannon in the brush. Great Pics.

Great pics from the past. I live within 2 miles of the original woolrich mill and store. They still have good stuff! That old Jeep truck brings back memories too!..

I did mount it for him.. Well kinda.. I must have been 14yo and it was a first.. I didnt know about putting a form in it so I used paper macha and crumbled up papers..It came out very flat and shrunk right up.. He still has it though.. ;D ;D

I should have took pics of some of the shows I went to. I don't remember much of them ::) Think I had fun though 8). The hunting memories are much better, don't really need pictures, since they're so well etched in my memory. Deposit, I was about the same, graduated in '93.
