I am from Rhode Island. After picking, I cut them all up, toss out the buggy parts and then I dry them in dehydrators. I actually use 2 dehydrators to keep the flow going faster. Its A LOT of work but well worth it. I will take a pictures of what I have dried so far this year - not to mention how many I have already eaten fresh and handed out to family. I do well every year, but this has been one of the best seasons I have seen so far. I must have 50+ liters of dried mushrooms of various types. Wish I could make a living out of it.
