Any tips for weasel trapping?

What is the best bait to use in a box? Where should I put the box? Any other tips will help

old chicken meat leave it out a day or 2 to get it smelling all kinds of nasty and place you boxes on field edges or stone walls

Also a little bit of weasel lure at the lip of the opening will also get them curious.  Mice, muskrat, rabbit, chicken, deer as a food lure inside the box will also draw them in.  A good old victor rat trap will take care of the rest.

My prefernce when I was a kid trapping weasels was 1/2 frozen mouse wired on the rat trap bait holder, placed in a box with a hole... or a number 0 victor same bait... caught a bunch that way.

Use to take a cardboard milk jug and cut in half then put a rat trap inside with a piece of chicken put it 4 feet up on a tree.
