I just picked up a Summitt Razor SS pretty nice unit, 280 bucks though

I picked up 2 guide gear climbers out of the sportman's guide. They were only 60 bucks. Their a few pounds heavier than the more expensive ones. But they work well for me.

I have the Summit Goliath and it is the best stand I have ever owned it costs some money but it will last a life time.

 I got the Summit Open Shot Deluxe. Love it! I got it off ebay for $219 shipped! only 15 lbs !, bites hard into the tree, very easy to use. I had a guide gear climber a couple years back, I left it in the woods. It was comfy, but much more of a bear than this one.

Thanks for the replies I ended up getting a lonewolf from a guy that hurt his back and no longer can use a climber

if it were my choice i definatly wouldn't spare no expence when it comes to my child .. and lone wolf makes a great climber  with stealth and safety all kept in mind  ;)
