These are pictures of a fawn that was picked up along the road in Bradford Co. Pennsylvania. The owners have a breeders license and raised the deer in captivity. The buck is now 6 1/2 years old, last weighed this spring at 320lbs. and as of Aug. 15 sported 8 points and a 25 1/2"inside spread, 14" G 2's and 10 3/8" bases in velvet. This deer is expected to break the Boone and Crockett minimun of 170 inches this year as a typical 8 point. This deer does not benefit from some of this areas better genetics as he has never grown more than 8 points, imagine if he did!
Let em' go, let em' grow! I wish I had the pics of this bucks first 3 spindly racks, you wouldn't believe it was the same deer.
