Mule Deer Fawn
« on: Nov 11, 2015, 11:04:13 AM »
I was out hunting with a friend and we ran across this Mule Deer fawn Nov. 1 , looks like he /she was born a little to late I do not think it will make it through the Wyoming winter. the Mother took off and I believe the fawn thought it was hiding and laid it's head down on the log. He/ she finaly took off but let me get some pictures.

Sad. But thats mother nature...
The bad part is you would have got a ticket or worse for putting it out of its misery....      :-\ :-\ :-\

those are some great pics. Like Raquettedacker said it is sad to see the fawn really never had a chance but mother nature is tough sometimes.
