1100 20 gauge is the best pheasant gun I have ever used. Having said that I use a 12 gauge Ithica pump DS Police special, and put them down pretty good.

I have the 11-87 and love it, because I can shoot 3 inch shells if I want to go duck or goose hunting, I have shot 3 inch shells for sandhill cranes and love the light recoil of the shotgun.
just my 2 cents.

I have a REMINGTON 1100 and love it.I bought a MOSBURG 835 Back some time ago Mybe 12 years or better. The old woodland camo with a turkey barrel and tube.Right around 300.00 dollars .Its a pump. Its my go to gun for all shot gun use.The 1100 sits in the cabinet and only comes out for bunny season. This 835 shoots 31/2 mags,I have dropped turkeys up to 73 paces with this gun using Winchesters 3 1/2 mag 5 shot.Take it for crows all the time and dove i just change the choke tube out.I love this gun.The REMINGTON is a great gun also but the price difference is a bit steeper.I just bought my older son a   835 2 years ago it came with 3 choke tubes and a waterfoul barrel for a hair over 400.oo.nice camo pattern on this gun.he has the same results as me with it.His Bannelli sits in his cabinet too.Look into this gun and you might be supprised.

                  JUST MY OPINION.

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR CHOICE and GOOD HUNTING.
