Any farmers needing deer thined out?
« on: Nov 26, 2011, 02:06:56 PM »
I have hunted MD twice in the past. Me and my buddies hunted with Schraders. The first time we had a great time, the 2ed time was auwful. So with so many farmers having problems with deer is it hard to find a farm to hunt? I would like to go on a meat hunt. Horns are nice but 4-8 does will be nice while icefishing  ;)

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Thats what it takes to hunt there  ;D. Man,as some of you know its tough to find land to hunt in MD thats free  :P. You have such good hunting it appears that many will pay allot to hunt there. $150-$300 per day. I ended up shooting a big doe and my buddie that lives there shot one and gave that to me so I came out ok  ;D. It was real hard for me to get accustom to hunting such small pieces of woods/brush. At one place I hunted I was watching 24 deer feeding in one field  :o. On friday night 3 were working their way to my stand and when I thought they were not going to get any closer I picked out a fat doe and let one fly. 191 paces with a Browning slug gun and Acutip slug, prefect shot behind shoulder and dropped it. I am amazed with the accuracy of the slugs in the last 10 years.
