4 TAGS, 4 BUCKS!

Welp, back in the Summer I was on the phone with Jigchaser08 and we each setup some goals for the season to try and crush. My goals were these, his were close to the same.

1. Harvest 4 bucks this season ( I had 2 NH archery tags and 1 NH gun tag, plus a ME. gun tag )
2. to take a buck that got me the coveted 200 lb. patch!
3. too take two bucks over 130 inches.

I came damn close......... I harvested all four bucks, I got my 200 lb. deer, and I got a buck that scored over 130. I did not however get 2 over 130. Something to strive for next year. I don't want to say I am disappointed because I am not but I always push myself in anything I do, I hate losing and feel the need to perfect anything I do, and be the best. ( Not always a good thing. )

 I passed up 13 bucks since our Muzzleloader season has opened also including our Rifle season. Irony is every single one was bigger than this last buck but today was my last day. He will be much appreciated by my family. At 3:30 this afternoon after I got out of work I grunted in this 105 lb. spike and buried him with my Ithaca after only a 25 min. hunt. Shot him across a Beaver bog pond so I gutted him and did my best Impression of Curling and luckily he made it to the other side on the ice LOL! Just under 2 inches it wouldnt hold me I tried.

My buck from tonight......... 105 lb. spike with Ithaca 12 ga. NH



My buck from Maine during Hurricane Sandy 203 lb. 8 pt. 137" with Ruger Compact .308



My 2nd archery NH buck 115 lb. Spike of the season



And finally my first NH Archery buck of the season 99 lb. 3 pt.

Great Season buddy!  lots of venison there...way to go man...you won't see many of 2 1/2's in your woods next year... :o ;D  When we brookie fishing...? 8)

Oh but I will ;) each one of these came off a diff. property and I let all the ones with potential walk the rest were all 4-6 pts.  ;D and 1 1/2 yr. olds. I am cleaning my gene pool 8)

And I would have been more impressed if you woud have put your wife, (who looks like a very nice lady, and she puts up with your cocky butt) on one of those little cull deer...you were supposed to get her one this year... ;D :P ;D
