I am going coyote hunting this weekend and can't decide what to use for a gun. Any suggestions? We will be in pretty close range 75yd max. I've got a single shot 10ga with BBB loads, a 12ga auto with 3" slugs and 2.75" 00 buck, also a 22 auto and a 30-06 bolt scoped. I'm leaning towards the 12ga auto with a slug followed by buck. Any opinions?

ps. We have permission to hunt the coyotes from the NYS DEC, even though the season isn't open yet.

i use a tc encore chambered in 204 ruger, but most of the yote hunting is open fields 100+yards.close range the shotgun is a safe bet.
