One coyote with big game tag

Hey has anyone else seen the new hunting guide? Looks like we might be able to shoot one coyote with a big game tag just like we can shoot one wolf. Just need to have a big game licence, and an open tag if anything else is in season.
There are always lots of coyotes where I high power hunt, I've never had a shot at one, but now I would take one if I have the opportunity.

I thought the season was always open on Coyotes 24x7x365.Canada must be different. :)

I did post this in the Manitoba forum page right?  ???

Here we need a trappers licence to take coyotes, often alot of guys just shoot them anyway when out deer hunting, I don't know if there is an end to the season on coyotes. I don't mind coyotes, I'd just like to take one, but I don't want to break any rules to do it.

Yes there is a season.  I always have a trappers licence though, its only $5 so why not, then you can shoot as many coyotes and fox as you want.

We have no closed season on these nasty varmints here in NH. and no shortage of em either.

In Manitoba coyotes are a fur bearing animal, and Manitoba was founded on the fur industry.

yes u can take one coyote with your big game licence but buy a trappers licence there only 5 bucks ,and then kill every coyote u see u potentually same hundreds of rabbits and grouse witch i like eating a lot more than coyotes,  lol :)
