A NICE TIME @ HUNTING CAMP
« on: Jul 30, 2011, 06:50:44 AM »
I don't if you guys remember me but I live in the Adirondack Mt's in N.Y. & we have a camp in the North Maine Woods. Well anyway 4 of us went into camp last sunday to do some fixing up. the weather was good & the bugs weren't bad @ all. We saw 6 moose, 3 deer, 2 bear & bunch of rabbits. It was good to see the deer because that's  what go to camp for. We even had deer tracks behind our camp, which we haven't seen for years. We saw all the wildlife on the way in & way out of the woods. I wish I had taken my fishing pole, I went to Big Brook for a swim saw some nice Brookies. We had a good relaxing but also prductive time. ;D

Glad you had a good trip 30-30, always good to get away but never a shortage of work at "camp".

Glad to hear you had a good time 30-30!!  Won't be long before you'll be back up and on the track of a monster buck.

Hey guys I finally got some pics of the work we did. Our camp is kinda rough looking but we're working on it. It's better looking on the inside.

We even had snakes in the attick

Looks like some real progress, the new roof will be well worth the work. Sounds like you have some nice game around.

Nice job on the roof. That place looks like all business when it comes to hunting.

That in my mind is exactly how a hunting camp should look! that new roof will definitely help keep that place around longer.
