It's amazing how few deer I see from that stand when I'm actually in it  ::).

The blind is about 200yds to the left. I haven't found a shed yet on those properties, not sure if the coyotes take them or what? I'm sure I would have better odds if I looked in the bedding areas but I make it a point not to go through them unless necessary. I think I have a picture of him after he shed, all I know is there are a few pics of big bodied deer but not with noticeable antler growth. There were hundreds of deer pics on the camera, a dog, a fisher and plenty of squirrels. Stand is in a beech and there is a big white oak just off camera on the right.

That's a nice buck, isn't it the way, the deer come through when you're not there. >:(

Sadly that would be my biggest buck by a long shot if I got him. I've yet to see a buck while in that stand but have had one walk by an hour before dark on the day between two I was in it at the same time  ::). I've gotten a few nice bucks on camera there including a giant seven two years ago, but I will probably move that stand this year. When many acres look like this it's hard to pattern them. There's food everywhere.

He seems to be in the same pattern from the preseason. I think I'm going to hunt with my father for daybreak and them go wait where I saw this one late morning. Every time he's gone through there it was 1100-1200 that I've seen. That's why I sat in that spot from dawn to noon the first day.

Should be able to fill both tags the same day imo. Especially if they're two counties apart  :-\.

I agree it's legal for deer why not turkeys? ...sometimes a minor stand move makes a big difference
