Pretty cool pic's!
I'm still working on my first kill. Last year was just my second year out but was determined to take one with my bow. Never got a clear shot opportunity. I'll probably take the trusty 10 ga this year for a formal introduction to Uncle Tom !!! We're seeing a lot of birds here in Mecosta county.

well so far i have called in 2 birds for two buddies, the first a nice bird with about a 10 inch beard, 23 lbs and  1 1/2 inch spurs..yes 1 and 1/2 !! some hooks.

than last night on a quick afternoon hunt with my buddy..we smoked this decent 2 year old bird. 7 3/4 inch beard 22 lbs, and 3/4 inch spurs...crappy picture for right now...got to upload the good ones.

hopefully by next week there will be two more pics, my bird and my girlfriends..our season starts on the 7th...look for the update!

Nice looking pictures. all we saw this weekend were tresspassers stalking us as we were using a cedar box call. Dumb idiots.  :P
Tresspassing on my land is bad, Tresspassing on my land with an ATV will get you shot!

OK...a good week for this guy!!! lol.

i had the whole week off for me and my girls seasons...well she could only hunt two days, and we missed out on a hung up gobbler the first day ( i didnt have the heart to tell her, it was a giant!!! lol)  so she settled on this nice jake on tuesday morning...it had a 6 inch beard...which for a jake is quite nice i think . lol. 18 lbs. big freaking jake. lol.

and after a hard week of hunting..i finally found the "one" that was big enough to receive the famouse flockshot facial! lol.

he was the perfect cookie cutter...20.96lbs. 1 inch spurs and a 10 inch beard. crappy pics right now from my cell camera but better quality to come.

Looks like you have a pretty good season going for you there. Our neighborhood flock has been scattered by neighborhood dogs that are underfed and roaming loose. Going to have a serious negative impact on nesting hens and fawns this year.
Animal control folks are having a tough time getting them rounded up so far. My turkey season is all but over!
