all these good comments are putting a huge grin on my face.i had the chance to but the earth scented ones for the same price but went with the regular ones.i think the unit itself comes with 3 earth scent cartridges so i will try both.i will be using it for bow season as well from what im reading!!!

I got mine on Ebay for $16..  And 2 refill packs for $8.  But that was almost 2 years a go..

thanks guys...one more question...I see the refill packs have 3 repellant mats and 1 butane cartridge....so how long does the mat last vs the butane? or do you have to change them together...and if it lasts for 12 hrs, can you shut it off, or you just let it burn out? thanks.

    The mats last 4 hours and the butane lasts for 12...  They have an ignition switch and an on and off switch...

  i have never needed to use mine for deer.  But they do make an earth sent pad...     And they use them for bear hunting and dont have a problem with the smell..

yeah, I saw that , but still wouldnt trust it....I believe in total scent elimination....I go to extremes! their nose is your worst enemy.

i got mine and its on sale at gander for 20.00 and 8.00 for the jacket......20.00 for 4 refills....better work so i am not bug bait.....or you guys gonna hear it loud and clear

Maybe for deer hunting since it does let out an odor.

I use mine deer hunting, and haven't had any problems with them during that....the earth scent seems to work well!!!
