Very nice bear. Is it an adirondack bear or a southern zone bear?

Central,NY (Southern Zone) Bear   the season was just opened a couple years back in the location it came from (Brookfield,NY 7M)

Very nice bear, some years they'd be denned up by now. Any tags you haven't filled? 8)

I've never tried the meat    really looking forward to it   the guys that helped me drag it out said they really like it  so they will definitely be getting a bunch of it.   There was no way I was getting it out of there on my own...

congrats on your 1st --is  a nice bear--- get as much of the fat off an out of it as u can as it goes rancid--   i like to make jerky an sausage with my bears ---- use my deers for steaks an roasts  --- if u ever need to get one out of the woods by yoursely try a wheelbarrow-- iv'e rolled pope an young bears into wheelbarrows by myself --- then u go backwards an the wheelbarrow wheel goes over logs an rocks no problem   again conrats on 1stbear :)
