Anyone else notice the bucks being on their feet today? Love morning like this, woke up late, went out as the sun was rising. Saw a decent 6 pt on my way to the stand, backed out and chose a different stand that he was heading towards to intercept him. Was on full alert for that buck as he was about 150 yds away from where i saw him. Hear leaves crunching below me (opposite direction) as im on a ridge. Buck, buck, buck, and another, one after each other. Walking parallel to me 80 yds away. Get the horns out to try some rattling, 5 mins later I hear leaves and 2 loud cracks. Got real excited as this was about 45 yards away. Then a stud walks quickly through my shooting lane @ 40 yds and begins the beatdown on a good size sapling and beats the dirt away next to it. Then disappears over the knob. Calms down and around 10am a boone n crockett grey squirrel that has annoyed me with his freinds walks out. Made sure the Bowtech was on and layed him out. Hope tonight brings in something.
