I cut the back strap in thirds and freeze until ready to be consumed.  I then cut  into 1 1/2 pieces, wrap in bacon and cook on the grill.  Sometimes I sprinkle on some garlic seasoning.  I cook for 2 1/2 minutes and turn 180 degrees, Cook for another 2 1/2 minutes them flip over repeating the process for the other side.  They turn out medium and taste great.
No matter how big a deer is. You can only put a little piece on your fork at a time.
