The coyotes are not people shy by me. I shot one 25 yards from my front door. It was going after one of my neighbors animals. Last night they were yelping in the field next to my house. I shined a light on them and could see them with my spot lite about 100 yards away. I say make coyotes a nusiance animal that can be hunted year round without a license.

we can hunt them year round, day or night up here in maine.they are pretty trap shy but in winter snaring works well. you have to do it on the sly because the antis don,t like it.
