Still seeing does, and the only thing in range was a button buck right under me this morning, movement was late, after 9am.
Saw a fisher up in the trees on top of the mountain yesterday, pretty sure he was after red squirrels because they were making lots of noise just before that. Got a short video.
This evening I spotted a red fox running away 100 yards from me, started mouth squeaking and he ran straight to me, then realized he couldn't get whatever was making all the noise up in a tree.

Never really used cams much but trying more this year and just got a 3rd that needs to be set out. If anything they're great motivation.
Little scrub spent 5 minutes at this rub in the afternoon:
This guy doesn't have much of a rack but his body is huge, last pic is a doe for comparison:
First pic was a button checking out the rub 10 minutes after I left:

I’ve grunted in 3 diff bucks this week to the base of each tree I was in. None were shooters but things are ramping up. Still in bachelor groups here but sparring is getting more intense and scrapes are popping up

Did just have a doe come inspect my pop up blind. But she wasn’t to concerned. She’s 40 yards away eating apples now. Where’s the buck…….
