Great MB buck roscoe.  I used the good ole .243 for over 10 years for deer.  Always one shot.   I took a deer 3 yrs ago at 360 yards (relaxed broadside shot) with the .243 with a fixed 4x scope, with a good rest.  I'll be the first to admit that is pushing it for the little .243.  But its a great deer cartridge.  Switched to the .300 wsm just so it gives me practice shooting for moose/elk too.

Great job on that buck Roscoe!
The .243 caliber is gaining popularity for deer again. They offer plenty of smack for deer.
