spotting deer

(1/1)

powderburns:
I was out looking for deer monday evening on a farm that I have permission to hunt for the upcoming muzzleloader + rifle seasons. This land consists of 60acres of alfalfa backed up against 100 acres of bush. The nearest road is 1/2 mile away + that is where I park + watch thru a spotting scope. The first deer out of the bush was a huge bodied 5x5 (nice), followed by a 4x1, I suppose the one antler was injured during the velvet period. This deer was average size. Then came a small 2x2. That's all I saw until it got dark.
