New arrows and quiver
« on: Aug 01, 2013, 03:37:14 PM »
Went to Dick's sporting goods today to get some new arrows. Ended up with a dozen Beman ICS Hunters with Blazers. On the way out I saw the Rage quiver I saw on a hunting show a few months back. Hmmm I thought I have to have it. ;D Going to get that puppy mounted on the bow in a few and gets my arrows cut and inserts installed. Oh boy the smell of blood will be in the air soon.

I shot ICS's for quite a while, they are good arrows. What does the quiver do your rages, does it hold them different?

Yes they are good arrows. The quiver is made for Rage heads. They twist into the foam and are held snug in the insert where they don't rattle or deploy. You don't have to twist to get them out. Also has a rope on top of the carbon fiber hood for hanging it on a hanger. So far I like it. Haven't shot yet with the quiver on but looks a lot better than the Alpine quiver I had before.
