Gail Martin Passed
« on: Jul 22, 2013, 03:50:05 PM »
I just saw that Gail Martin passed away yesterday.  I'm not sure exactly how old he was I do know he was in his early 90's.  Does anybody know if Martin is still for sale?  I know that last December when Gail decided he was ready to retire they had decided to sell it.  I haven't heard of anybody buying it nor if it is still for sale.  Just hope Martin Archery doesn't die with him as the company has been struggling since the mid 2000's.  Gail was one the of great pioneers into the advance bows of today.

I shot my first deer with a Martin Lynx that my parents gave me as a gift in c. 1987. I'll have to try to find out what year I shot the deer, but must have been around 2000, maybe? That bow still shoots fine, my brother has it.
