You and me both bro! I am stoked to be able to fill my bear barrels in two weeks and that will hold me over for the first two weeks of Sept. I quit bear hunting on the 14th though, nothing gets in the way of me and my whitetails! Good luck this season!

I'm getting a little fix this week.  Taking a trip to Pittsburg for a day.  I'll start scouting in the southern part of the state again on the 1st.  I'll double check all the stands.
Today, I just took my red dot site off my TC .54cal Scout muzzleloading pistol and put it on my daughters Rossi youth .45 cal. muzzleloading carbine.  I did a laser bore sight and removed the cheap fiber optics.  We'll sight it in later this week.  I also put my Leupold VXII 2x7 on my son's CVA Wolf .50cal muzzleloading carbine last year and it is a tack driver to 100yds. I know, too much scope for a kid I plan to limit to 50yd shots.  I Didn't have funds for another Leupold 1x4 at the time and he's much more comfortable with scope over irons.  I spent the day today tearing down, cleaning and putting back together all the muzzleloaders in preparation for some range time later this week.

I need to stop in there today and grab some new tubing, I change the peep tube every year bc I get so scared of it dry rotting and snapping when I have Mr. Freaknasty in front of me. I will be good to go after that.

LoL I cant do it! I love the peeps that you could barely put a hair through, so accurate, and so I need it to be straight on.

you can see better through a bigger peep.. especially in low light. i have a 1/4" g5 meta peep on mine and love it. much less noise w/out the tube too.

Yeah, I know you can see better with a beast of a peep like that but, I shoot with both eyes open and have never really had an issue even in low light conditions. I just like the smaller diameter bc it is all I have ever used and am told its more accurate. Do you have a kisser or anything? Just your normal anchor? Are your 3 arrows in a dixie cup accurate inside 20? I wouldnt mind trying one out bc I see where your coming from jw if you really lose an accuracy?
