Sounds like a fine season to me Z. As far as I'm concerned, if you get good quality time in the woods that's a win!
I'm actually very jealous, it sounded like you had the chance to get out quite often this season.
I put 3 in the freezer, but I didn't get barely any time in the woods this season due to work and other family commitments. Was really jealous of all the guys that got many afternoons and weekends hanging in a tree. Meat on the table is great, but deer season has always meant so much more to me than that.
I agree with you about the deer numbers too. Saw tons of does this year(28 I think I counted, in my limited time out). Only saw the Big one once(at 70 yds) but had the bow. Passed on a few small bucks. Another one in the books.
