Pheasant hunting
« on: Nov 21, 2005, 01:48:44 PM »
My friend and i went out on opening day.We each got our limits thanks to my 2 labs. But i wish the state would stop just letting the birds out in some of the parkinglots.Last year we pulled into the parkinglot got out to get ready, and my friend said look up in the tree there's a bird.we started to look around and counted 13 birds just in the parkinglout.Guys where picking out which Bird they where going to shoot.I had a father and young kid next to me and told the father to let the kid shoot the Bird in front of me as i had my dogs.I wish the state would drive the birds into the fields,i do not mind working for the birds, that's why we call it hunting!

I use to hunt Clinton and saw them stock many times
they do drive in there weather permitting
but you never know which way the birds will fly
didn't hunt this year because my lab Muzzy died
from cancer in sept. :'(
