Deer jumping off bridges
« on: Sep 04, 2010, 10:59:28 AM »
Back when I lived in PA I saw 2 incidents of deer jumping off bridges!!!!First was on a late season rabbit hunt.Saw 6 deer dead on the ice under a highway bridge...... :'(

Second time I was fishing and found a dead doe under a bridge.Went back next morning and deer wasnt there,I was like where did that deer go....Next thing I look over and theres a live deer about 10 yards from where the dead one was!!!! :o

I called cops to come and finish it off and they said they had a call from someone else the day before to get a tag for the other deer to eat (why it was gone).... ;D

But the baby must of tracked/smelled where his mommy went the day before and jumped off the bridge as well, but being smaller broke its pelvis and lived......When 2 cops came down to finish it off they actually missed the first time!!!!!! ???

I ate back-straps that night....... 8)

Saw it happen one morning going to a bass tourney on Champlain. I was following a fellow boater & saw the deer coming down the enbankment, she hit the road in front of the guy in front of me and angled off to miss the truck, He locked up the brakes and the deer jumped the guardrail. Only problem being she jumped at the edge of the bridge over the LaChute River. She took about a 30' - 40' dive off the bridge into the river.

I found a dead 10 point while fishing a pond in the spring in PA as well!!!!It was along shore of a pond (smell gave it away),musta got shot/wounded during season and headed to water (I cut the horns off).......That hunter had big story of the one that got-away..... ;D

Also found a 6 point that was dead when his horns got caught in vines while rubbing a tree!!!!!It was still hanging there half eaten when I found it.....

Also found a skunk that was stuck in-between 2 brush sprouts that it tried to crawl in-between,it was dead/trapped and didnt make it out......Dead on arrival!!!!!

why do chickens cross roads?
If vegetarians love animals so much, why do they eat all their food?
