Title: Beware of the revenge of trees.
Post by: adkRoy on Oct 03, 2006, 11:59:11 AM
While hanging a tree stand Saturday, there was a branch in a shooting lane that I had to shimmy up a tree to get to. Just as I reached the branch the tree started bending just like you see in a cartoon. I unwrapped my feet from around the tree just as the tree snapped about half way up. I dropped down 5 feet and land on my feet but the rest of the tree landed on my head.  :'( I have a nice bump there. Luckily I have a very hard head. Unfortunately, I have a propensity for heavy objects dropping on my head.  :-\
