Went out for one of the final times to hunt pheasants and finally got one to stay put after I hit it.  Seen a lot of hen pheasants and a few roosters, but it was rally nice to see so many birds around this part of the state again.  Just hopefully there are more roosters around.

yes we do, just wish it was not so expensive to get out any more, hate paying over 4 dollars a gallon for diesel, and over 3.50 a gallon for gas.  But I guess everything will go up after time, just wish the paychecks reflected the increase as well.  But love the country I live in and trying to educate my children in the wonders that lay around them, now for some icefishing.
